Then, people who are going to be fired, pay their employer to not fire them and agree to work for free until they find some another job.. 'Cause it's better to work for free instead of going to jail. What a sweet business climat it will be.. And something tells me that if they anyway are going to jail because of unemployment - most certainly for life since depression(or recession(or inflation (or god-knows-whatation))) hits and they're aging in jail and getting less competitive in the job market - they can at least rob or kill somebody right before (if there is no death penalty for a murder), or even a few , if they could - anyway they're going to jail for life, man.. Life isn't simple, never simple.. It's not a simple thing to regulate humans, specially when firearms and ammo are available for sale, it might come to regulators back, bumerang thingy..
I liked the idea, thank you, it is funny..

  5. I just caught that the Hang Seng is down significantly. Gold is on the upswing. I just went through a leadership change at a retail location. The previous mangement did not acknowedge how things move in the current economic enviroment. The pricing that valid pre crash is nolonger the model. The consumer drives your sales as long as you have correct product mix. The tired consumer is very thrifty and demands a low margin enviroment. There were several times when a deal could have been completed but the price did not sit well with the consumer. I look at this at a micro example of what is going on in the system. If someone does not step in to save the ship then it will sink. (Euphamistically speaking)
This is a sentinment issue across the country. The leadership will not aknowledge there is an issue until it is their face. If somebody would open up their check book and start a public works project on the scale of the Hoover Dam alot of citizens would have work. Many people have grown up in a system that says "You need to get a job" people in that way are very risk averse. Since that is reality, then find or make real jobs for them. This country still needs a high speed rail system and a few infrastructure improvemets. Let the gridlock in DC bring the system down they don't care, they have the power, the money and the responsibility.

  6. first of all, people don't want to buy all that crap anymore whether they have money or not.

and secondly it costs about $200,000 per year in tax dollars for every single make work job.

and thirdly, what kind of economy and for that matter society are we going to have when the only opportunity left is to work for the government?

Sorry your business is no longer thriving, but I'm kind of tapped out and don't really feel like donating any more money to a dying business.

Maybe instead of me giving more, you should just change.

  7. Take off the rose colored glasses! People with deep pockets can make things happen on a whim. People do care whether that have money/wealth or not. It should not cost money to make a job work. This is a fallicy, work = wage becaue of wasteful investment and poor cost management. There is no security for working for the governement they have succumbed to globaliztion as well. Just look at the postal layoffs and others. Legacy costs and overpaid people absorb any probility for a system recovery. My bussiness will continue without yours or any others sympathy .... when you are cash/asset backed it does not matter. I do not use credit and it still makes its. When you state you should not be giving me more, keep your money.I don't take hand outs or government money. BTW we have had an increase in sales and I want to crush the 4Q of 2011 and make you eat crow. When I have an opportunity I will take a picture of real wealth and show your dumb ass.
