Goto cnbc.com watch live video, install firefox addin, close browser, goto bloomberg.com, live tv works. This works for chrome and I suppose firefox.

  7. You need to spoof Safari for Mac.

Download the extension "User Agent Switcher" and create a new entry to spoof Safari.

    The entry should look this:

    Name: Safari 4.0.5 (v531)

    Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_3; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.22.7 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Safari/531.22.7

    App Code name: Apple
    App name: Safari
    Version: 4.0.5
Platform: Intel Mac OS X 10_6_3

Also download VLC player with the Firefox plugin.

You may need to enable Java as well. You also may need the extension "mediaplayerconnectivity".

  8. This is to watch BB content with firefox on either Windows, Mac or Linux.

  9. Are you in IE?

I use opera, but Bloomberg doesn't like to work with opera with its video.
