Interesting article from Bloomberg on the value of Street analysts and their forecasts/estimates. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601109&sid=apQUkLyvXWSA&refer=home I also recommend the 2007 book "Full of Bull" that delves inside the world of analysts, and highlights what many of us feel is wrong with the whole notion of their worth to the market. IMHO most analysts, while they may have A-school MBAs, just don't "get" the intracasies of many of the companies they cover. Some of their quotes/analyses/comments are downright daffy. My own 2 cents...
