Same here. As unspectacular as the new layout is, it's an improvement over the previous one.

I for one couldn't care less about the "look" of a news website as long as it is not distracting, which the previous Halloween format was.

  5. thanks you for being a self-appointed usability expert.

Now they will cower in fear and run back to the old design, simply because you were not amused.

seriously, way too much time on your hands if you need to start a thread like this, as if it were some kind of disaster...

if you don't like the fact that the internet is a dynamic, competitive place, and the fact that Bloomberg probably did this after a lot of testing and competitive analysis, then maybe you need to go back and sign up for 14.4K dialup service via America Online :D

  6. dont like it.

4 1 thing its too thin, too much whitespace on the sides.

most of us have widescreen monitors.

    its a skanky layout.

  7. The old layout was for men, this new one is for girls and limp-wristed hipsters. Black is the colour of power, white is the colour of nuns and pasty-faced girly men.

  10. On the new site scroll to the bottom and look at the lower left there is a link back to the old site.
