Do you know any software that has the capability to alert a user whenever there is a large number of shares of any security being traded in the market?

For example, the software will alert me that one trades of 100000 shares was traded on IBM in real time.

I talked to eSignal. Unfortunately, their scanner does not support that. They only support cumulative volume, not single transaction.

    Thanks.

  2. www.trade-ideas.com has that ability and a lot more! You can see them in real-time or on an as needed basis.

You can also get a squawk for NYSE stocks. There are many traders who simply trade on this info alone. I'm not sure how easy it is to a good squawk, u may need connection on the street (actually im pretty sure u do).

  5. Knobias I think has block trade alerts

  6. You mean like an I-Bank style squawk coming from the bank's trading floor to their retail desks or a squawk from the floor itself ?(not sure I'd need Maria Bartiromo in surround sound)
