Antifa with automatic weapons... Wonder if they paid for them? Where they got them from? What this politically active and violent designated terrorist organization intends to do with them? So yes, it appears some may be willing to kill someone over politics. The question is, do you take steps to defend yourself?

I think you're oversimplifying and assuming the others are as levelheaded as you. I've made that mistake many times. People can be extremely irrational, even acting against their best interest in the long term. If a neighbor comes to your house to shoot you, you shoot him in defense, you'll be labeled "a racist", others will have a go at your life. That's how things start.
Well both of you are right. If threatened then yes I would not hesitate to defend my life or the lives of family. And I am often guilty of oversimplification.
Up until the 90’s, a lot of middle class white’s lived in many urban area such as brooklyn ny. Im not talking about the millenials, im talking true brooklynites and people who lived in other cities. There is no way in hell black lives matter would dare venture into those neighborhoods, they would be beaten. Most of those whites have moved into the suburbs and those communities are now comprised of wimply liberals who couldnt defend themselves if they wanted to, hence the easy pickins by the black bullies.
If the BLM/Antifa terrorists (they are in the truest sense of the word) keep this up and the authorities do nothing to stop it, how long until rival "gangs" start forming and BLM/Antifa people start silently disappearing to never be seen again. This is how it would happen in many other countries at least.
and not a threat was seen that day. It's simple really, someone's yelling at me, I ignore them until the situation escalates. Doubtful, the numbers are on their side. It would take fascistic government crackdown just like every other leftist movement that was violently put down before it....or until it fizzles out as is often the case (yellow vest protests come to mind).
People who earn a wage or make a profit pay taxes. Taxes fund the government. The government provides social services, including welfare, food assistance, and healthcare from these taxes. A lot of the money the government spents is on housing, food and healthcare. Some money ends up going towards controlled substances. If businesses are destroyed and the risks of opening a new business in an area are too great, what happens to tax revenues and economic opportunities in that area? No jobs means no way out. Throughout history, the Radical Leftist formula of gaining political power have destroyed economic opportunities for most. The Radical Leftists don’t have anything to contribute, so they rely on misdirection using identity politics and perhaps distribution of mind altering drugs, to gradually gain influence over the target political system. From there, they can turn the system against itself by pitting people against organized leadership such as religeous and nationalistic ideals. Further, independent thinking is attacked, as often seen in alpha males. Using propaganda to elevate effeminate or disfunctional behaviour such as anti-country or gender confusion shows the new expectations of acceptable behavior by the increasingly influential Radical Leftists. The number of Radical Leftist leaders are few. They rely, like a virus, on hijacking the productive machinery of society whether it is funding or people in achieve their ends. Their attack upon us is insidious, kind of like being infected or poisoned instead of being confronted directly, where we would know what to do. Unfortunately, some of these radical Leftists have infiltrated our justice and intelligence services, kind of like a virus hijacking the immune system, causing extensive damage, or worse. Most of us should know what the future holds for us if trends continue. Our system is under attack, a system that created the highest standard of living for the common man the world has ever seen. A system that has resulted in innovation and a get it done attitude that had far reaching and positive effects on the world. It may take those who want to save our system to get their hands dirty. Real dirty. If my perceptions above are accurate, would it be worth it to go that route for anyone here on ET or beyond? Is saving our system worth that kind of effort? Does it not seem the Radical Leftists will stop at nothing to achieve their goals? If the upcoming election results are fair, no matter who wins, there should no controversy. Even by those who may feel the decisions made by certain voters was not the result of informed consent. Any entity that unjustifiably attempts to create controversy or overturn a fair election should be put down with the full force that our system can bare.
