That's a good idea, coupled with higher health taxes on unhealthy food might also encourage healthier choices. If not then they get to help with their own health care cost. Win/win
Sure, a handful of kale is cheaper at the till than a handful of corn chips. Which is why I said "per calorie".
Unquestionably, ObamaCare is the central political issue of 2014. As the midterm election campaign moves forward, liberal politicians will have to justify their support for a program that has cost millions of individuals their insurance; will raise premiums for most small businesses; imposes hundreds of billions of dollars in new taxes; and will cost, according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office, the equivalent of two million jobs over the next three years. But so far this year, the three network evening newscasts have minimized, spun or ignored every negative development about ObamaCare, while at the same time touting staged pro-ObamaCare publicity stunts, such as the Presidentâs appearance on a Web-based comedy show in March.... http://newsbusters.org/blogs/rich-n...tudy-network-tv-buries-obamacare-s-bad-news-0
There are four major networks. And the forth, fox is blatantly a republican mouthpiece. Also talk radio is predominantly far right. The public hears the message of both sides there isn't an issue of people not having access to both sides of the story.
Bad enough that out of the 4 major networks, liberal mouthpieces out number conservative by 3-1, but then add in cable and their sister channels (MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, etc) and it really becomes more like 10-2 (Fox and Fox news). And don't even get started on the written press which we all know is ultra liberal.
Let's look at the TV/Cable News networks: CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC - lean left. FOX News - lean right Left outnumbers the right by 5 to 1.
Math isn't one of bigzero's strong points. Facts and questions make him run away screaming like a girl.
No comparison between fox abc nbc and cbs. Fox is the only one that is a mouth piece for a political party. That's why it's called faux news. Written news?? I think I remember that.
