We seem to agree far more than we disagree. I am not blaming anyone for the sins of their forefathers. I am pointing an accusatory finger at those who stoke the flames unncessarily and senselessly. As for the black/white thing, although I don't feel guilt for something I did not do, I understand a lingering sensitivity that may exist. It is like a wound that heals slowly and requires little to inflame it. Imagine if your forefathers had been enslaved. Take a moment and picture the horror of it. Now consider the people who to this day make light of it. You need to recognize that it remains a sensitive chapter in America's history. Even the Republican Colin Powell, who voted for Obama on the issues, broke down and cried because a black man had been elected into the nation's highest office. This river runs deep, Reaver.
