Sanchez said the previous mark was a 72-percent showing by Democrat Bill Clinton in 1996. Obama had a 77-21 margin over Romney, according to the poll. Heinrich also received 77 percent of the Hispanic vote compared with 22 percent for Wilson, the poll said. "We think that's a pretty eye-popping number," Sanchez said in a conference call with reporters. Hispanics make up 40 percent of the electorate in New Mexico. Ignorance strikes again. Most Mexicans have strong religious values (i.e. they are in allignment with most conservatives). OTOH, Mexican gangs and black gangs compete for the same turf. (i.e. there is a very real conflict at work there).

Conservatives aren't going to get the Latino vote. It has happened a few times but with things the way they are the Democrats are going to ride the culture like a rented horse. With their taxation and spending the way it is the culture won't be worth much but they own the federal sector, the press, the schools, etc. so they are unstoppable. It's all a big yawner to me, I can move somewhere else if necessary. I'm sure that a lot of capital will flee the US. Isn't the US following in the footsteps of Britain? Britain has a 99% literacy rate while the US graduates lots of people that can't read. At best it's going to be a tad shittier in the US than Britain I suppose. If Obama succeeds with the Cloward & Piven plan to overwhelm the social services and bring on a revolution I do want to be somewhere else when that happens. That could happen in just a couple of years actually. The business cycle is a non-event right now, when we get to the part that normally is a recession and we never had the booming expansion then watch out below. And watch out below when the interest rates rise and Obama's minimum payments go up...
