Black Monday ??

  1. Why not using the 'journal' part ?

Have people already noticed that calls are being intentionally made in different threads so as to be able to recall the good ones and leave the others forgotten ?

  3. well said. imho, avalanche is the best moderator on the board... seems to know what he is talking about. there should be a section for market calls and it should be a sub-section of chit chat since it is all BS !!!! let hank bobbins and rubberturd moderate it.

  6. Oh I covered but not all .... and it also depends on your timeframe!

I personally like to hold a core position and add and subtract off of it.

    ET is hilarious .... :D

Everyone in here thinks that their way is "The only" way.

We need to stop this nonsense people as there are LOTS of ways to make money from the market.

Hank - this was a great call and you deserve full credit !

For those of you that are just frustrated and envious because you missed this ride, you need to chill out and catch the next one.

At least Hank had the balls to go out on a limb and he gets full marks in my book it took courage to share it in here with everyone, considering this crowd.

Read the financial papers, watch CNBC or Bloomberg TV, anywhere with people focusing on the markets. You can feel the general sentiment by listening to what they focus on. This thread was a good example of bearish sentiment, although I wouldn't rely on it alone. You also have to just look at prices and try to imagine how people who bought or sold at recent prices would be feeling about the current market action. E.g. on Friday, clearly people were crapping their pants - even without watching any news, you can just see the fear in the charts.

The Dow: Anyone notice there wasn't much of a change in the open interest all of last week? (At least that is what my free charting site says... never can trust it 100%, so correct me if I'm wrong.) Even with the increase of volume most of last week.
