This is part of what you wrote. "This was essentially a workplace shooting for all intents and purposes, perpetrated by a disgruntled and crazy man." That's the only part that is relevant to the killing and that's all which is relevant to me. The rest is simply a distraction from what we need to be discussing on the issue of racially motivated killings. Muslim terrorist guns down military people on Army base, it's workplace violence. Racist black guy kills two innocent people. That's workplace violence too. White guy kills innocent black people ...OMFG, we're a nation of racists, all of whom are white.
You said, "White guy kills innocent black people ...OMFG, we're a nation of racists, all of whom are white" after putting up examples of workplace shootings, as if it were comparable. So I wanted to know if you were referring to the Charleston shooting, which, unless Roof was a former employee of that church, was definitely not a workplace shooting.
Yes, I was referring to the scumbag Roof. The point I was trying to make is that the left has endless trouble identifying the true motive when it's a Muslim, Black or any other minority doing the killing, and razor sharp intuition when a white guy is the trigger man.
Seriously, why are you being obtuse? Clubber Lang, as usual, took the opportunity to make it about all black people. Read his post. First and foremost, it was an unbalanced and disgruntled former employee who killed his former co-workers. Sure, there was a racial component, but was that the overriding factor in this particular event? How is it that you are quicker to make it about race when it suits you and not nearly as quick when it doesn't? Doesn't that make you as duplicitous as the people you rail against?
Ok. As I pointed out yesterday, CNN, to take one example, very clearly reported the Virginia shooter's stated motives.
"First and foremost, it was an unbalanced and disgruntled former employee who killed his former co-workers. Sure, there was a racial component, but was that the overriding factor in this particular event"? And you're accusing me of being obtuse? Well, at least you grudgingly admit that there was a racial component. That's progress.
But where's the wall to wall, 24/7 discussion as we had with Roof? If only he had a flag or something. I guess that would do it.
