To be fair there are a number of blacks who supported Trump in both elections in North Carolina. They tend to be religious conservatives. My neighbor is one. I don't quite get it --- he has a PhD and is a bright guy working in a scientific field but a big Trump supporter on the basis that V.P. Pence is religious therefore vote for Trump.
