BKC 3G buy-out

Discussion in 'Stocks' started by stevenpaul, Oct 11, 2010.

  1. Hi all,

3G is buying all the outstanding BKC shares at $24 per share, although I can't tell when the transaction will be final. Is this a merger whereby BKC will disappear as a ticker? Or, will it keep trading into the indefinite future, with the potential for rising above $24?

    Thanks so much.

  2. I have some calls struck at 24 and am trying to decide whether I should liquidate them for $.05, or hang in there for a move beyond 24. I'm pretty sure they'll expire worthless, considering the deal mentioned above, but I'll sure feel silly if BKC does move up beyond 24 after having closed the trade. Anyone have any insight on this to share? What is the probability, do you think, that 24 will be a permanent ceiling for BKC? I know very little about merger dynamics.

    Thanks again.
