Not sure how these work, but if I understand correctly, the individuals involved can be sued as individuals, not as federal officials. I believe a rash of such lawsuits would make "loyalists" think twice before acting on their own, assuming that is actually what happened. I don't think for one minute these were rogue actions, though it must be considered since this prez and his minions had created such hatred toward all things conservative. Then fire them after they are sued (or before, if warranted). Would such lawsuits take taxpayers off the hook for lawsuits? Any lawyer types familiar with this type of action?
