Good thing the dem primary loser's constituents will likely go Mccain. I'm not a big fan of his either, but better to have him over the others. And now, Bob Barr wants to be on the top of the Libertarian ticket. LOL. What an election cycle! Two socialists fighting for the dem ticket, a liberal friend of Teddy and other dems on the repub ticket, and a drug warrior wanting to be on the Libertarian ticket. Man, do we need a new, viable, electable constitutionalist party..bad!
what i don't get is why clinton is still in the race. looking at the "bush experiment", why is it so hard to realize that "only one president per family" should be the rule? But, I should not be talking negative about a successful futures trader on this forum, so I will shut up.
Well, you got the facts completely wrong on this one. The flag in question was hung in a volunteers office in Houston, TX. Obama had nothing to do with it and the office was not even part of his official campaign. Better yet, one term per prez, 2 term house , 1 term senate reduced to 4 years. Then we would have true representation. Shouldn't be carreer politicians, IMHO. No retirement for politicians. Use the internet and keep em out of DC. They might actually do as they promise. On the other hand, if majority of media was honest and unbiased, we wouldn't need term limits, would we?
Although it was true that he had nothing to do with the flag, my primary argument against him is simple. He is a socialist. Cut and dry. Listen to him talk about taxes and big gov programs. Go to his senate web sight. View his voting record. Look at his money backers and supporters, including the office in Houston. Other friends like media matters, moveon, etc tend to be pretty far to the left, don't you think? More then enough for me to look past his charm and excellent speaking abilities.
Supporters like Paul Tudor Jones and Kenneth Griffin? There are a lot of Wall Streeters that are supporting Obama for one reason or another. I agree with some things about his platform and disagree with others. I agree that his voting record, especially on taxes is too left for me. I refuse to vote for McCain (warmonger) or Clinton (liar and even bigger socialist than Obama). I voted for Ron Paul in the primary, unfortunately more people didn't get what he was talking about to make a difference. Oh well, I reserve the right to move out of the country if things get too bad...that option is starting to look attractive more and more each day.

I kind of agree with you. I'm actually thinking about writing in Ron Paul if he is not on a ticket (depending on who Mccain picks as his mate). Mccain, even though better then the other two, has me concerned. I don't trust him. He voted against the tax cuts, and now he's for extending them. A few other contradictory issues have to be adressed with him. I simply don't trust flip floppers. I would like to vote for a politician who does not change his stance or beliefs to win votes and impress the media. A rare find these days. Im my post mentioning term limits: I believe if a politician could only serve a single term, he would be less likely to lie. Just my belief. I'm not sure why some wallstreeters would vote for a high tax guy, but Buffet certainly will. Guess he can afford the high taxes. I believe an article in Fortune had it right on before the Obama fad began. According to the story, big corps liked Hillary, since they wouldn't have to pay for health benifits anymore if healthcare is nationalized. Not in the traditional sense, anyway. I get killed on taxes, even now, although I don't make much. The reason: I'm self employed, and I'm not counting the market. I'm only just now becoming net profitable in this game. That's when I'll really get soaked, I guess. I believe it will be far worse under the current choice of dems.
