When obama's poll numbers start falling and he loses Penn. the market will begin to rally off the news. A divided, elitist democratic base will be easily defeated by McCain. Even if Obama wins the nomination the democratic base will be frayed between the West coast and east coast liberals and the small town liberals.
there is no diff between McCain and Obama as far as the economy or the market. Either of them will screw things up badly for US. Even China won't be called red any more after a couple more years, it is going to be US. Having said all that, does not mean the market is not going to add 10% in the next 1-2 months.
Looks like obama is tanking in penn. Like a malignancy this will spread to other states. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/04/new-poll-shows.html Not good for the dems. It's over. As I have predicted many times we're gonna have eight more years of republicanism.
If Omama wins the demos I'll vote Maccain; simply put just don't like the guy... He is a lelft wing socialist; he hung a Cuban revolutionary flag in his campaign headquarter and never tried to explain the reason behind it; that will tell you what kind of person he is. He is not what you call a typical conservative American value but I think some where in his own mind there is a hidden agenda that we don't know about. Sorry, but I just don't buy his craps. sg20
obama may be the best bet for US. the country needs somebody to shake it up. mccain is too old and clinton is too corrupt.
