Not yet! MSTY hasn't even announced August divs yet lol.... I think my sheet has it at
    1-Aug-2025 1.2 21.34 using some chatgpt interpretation.

The high yield div funds function just fine...I practically invented them! It's the underlying I don't trust. What you have to understand is these high yield dividend etf's are to generate income not capital...or more accurately generate income from capital.

  4. What we are battling here is a fundamental evil - which the system is pushing via the design of "AI chatbots" and other methods - to influence people to become indifferent to what is true. Downstream effects are the exacerbation, perhaps even the creation, of mental illness at scale. Some serious thinkers at the intersection of psychology and computer science are now taking this possibility seriously, see e.g. Prof. Gary Marcus. It is a serious matter, one piece in a larger puzzle and overall very dangerous. Wealth and networks provide a degree of insulation, but only to an extent as we must all exist in society, access medical care, etc.

No doubt your intellect and scientific background allows you to perceive and appreciate these dynamics, but your character shines through in not being able to abide bullshit and taking the time to explain the facts of your profession here - even to an audience which is incapable of deriving any benefit. You belong to a class of achievers who have brought humanity forward by discovering what is true, despite the opposing force of the perverse rabble who believe their ignorance is of equal value. Tale as old as time, except now the average person doesn't know his place and can't respect his betters. Anyway thanks for who you are and what you've contributed, it's appreciated by a few. At this point in our history the average human is cannon fodder, to be regarded with a combination of pity and disgust and the recognition that they are downright dangerous if not controlled. One suspects that the controllers have written them off as irredeemable. God help us.

Between social media, chatbots, Sars CoV-2 linked cognitive impairment and potentially other factors a concerning percentage of the population has scant emotional control, diminished ability to reason, and harbor weird, incorrect, or downright delusional beliefs on topics ranging from medicine, politics, mechanisms of infectious disease transmission, pharmaceuticals, drug abuse, sexual behavior, epistemology, finance...well, anything really. It's a sorry state.

He marveled at “discovering” that MSTY’s dividend is more correlated to IV than MSTR’s price… ya no shit, Sherlock. IV is derived from price. MSTR dilutes their stock, so it no longer tracks Bitcoin with the same intensity. IV drops → dividend drops. I was pointing this out months ago — MSTR hasn’t been reacting to Bitcoin’s moves the same way anymore. Less movement = less volatility = less premium = less dividends.

I was not blowing myself. I said it 5-6 months ago and you pushed the opposite. When the divs were cut you took credit for the prediction which is beyond the pale. There is something seriously wrong with you; neurologically.

Before you invest in high-yield covered call funds today, you really should go look up what happened to all the cover-call funds hawked in the past. Ask how the investors did.

I never argued about anything vol based lol...as mentioned those were calcs using an average of coupon rates since inception...or using the actual data. Nowhere did I say we would be getting $4 indefinietly and never used it in forecasting. I even posted a spreadsheet forecasting future divs where it drops below $1.

All you've done is regurgitate was is literally written on their prospectus and framed it as a revelation lol.
