I don't disagree. I think the block chain technology is a new era, where it takes us I have no idea. But like all technologies it morphs and evolves , I just question the blind faith some have that current version BTC as an investment is the end all be all. Obviously other agree or they wouldn't be selling (Ver) or developing other alt coins.
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/enjoy-bitcoin-while-you-can-2017-12-13 BTCUSD getting a little volatile at the $17k level.... can this go to $20k or is this the top ?
I know this is completely irrelevant, but Charlie Lee the creator of the best performing crypto of 2017 expects a few years of bear market for Litecoin, warning that unless you are prepared for a 90% drop in value, you shouldn't buy it. Now it begs the question, why would anyone buy or even hold it if such a bad times are ahead, but we have to applaude his honesty. I always liked the guy...
bitcoin is currently in a bubble, no one can say if it has topped or if it is still going higher, it is difficult to predict because majority of the market participants are speculators, if anybody says bitcoin is going up to $100,000, I can just compare such person to a sport fan cheering his favorites sport team.
The same logic can be applied to those that are naysayers. They are just cheering for the wrong team currently.
