The only fundamental value a currency has is the real goods it can be exchanged for. Does anyone know what the PPP for Bitcoins is? I.e. wherever websites offer to sell real goods for bitcoins, how much are those goods worth per bitcoin. Whatever it is, clearly the PPP cannot have gone from 10 to 250 in a few months. Therefore it is a bubble. Anyone know if it's possible to short this thing?
P.S. this is quite uncanny, but literally on Wednesday I heard of bitcoin for the first time from a (non-market) friend of mine. That was the exact top!
