    The cycle, based on statistics, points to a ~$250K top followed by an ~80% retrace. How price gets to either of those levels is irrelevant. Some news will align with the move, some won’t — and people will focus on whatever headlines fit the narrative.

    The only real question is whether we run straight to $250K first, or if we drop to ~$80K before making the move.

    Out of interest,and obviously you are a pure chartist to date,does the order allowing 401K investment in crypto make any impact on your outlook?

    The cycle is data-driven and repeats. Both bullish and bearish events have always been part of past cycles and continue to occur in predictable patterns. Once you know the structure, external factors are irrelevant — everything is already baked into it, so trying to pin down which event will be a catalyst for price is an exercise in futility.
