I mentioned a few times previously I don't think correction has ended - but what do I know? Timing is everything.
I don't know how that would work, could end up losing on both trades This particular trade is on Hyperliquid decentralized exchange perpetual futures, which trades 24/7 and profits and losses (and liquidation) are instant, no bids and asks

One zone is right around present price 82000-80000 and second is 74500-70500 I gotta take a little time to take another closer look but more importantly time periods I had was Mar11-Mar 14 which came and went with just a short term bounce .... and March 25-Mar 26 upcoming.
“No bids and asks”….How does that work? Does the exchange take the opposite of all trades? I agree that the trader in question would likely lose on both futures and short options positions. The real intention depends on how big the traders bankroll is. It makes me think of the story about the guy who heard that a big player was buying all the sugar they could get their hands on. Not having the money to risk he took the information to another large player and was astonished that the trader immediately started shorting sugar heavily. When the market absorbed all of his shorts without dropping the trader reversed and went long. He was testing the theory before believing the messengers information was true.
You're mixing 2 types of trading, though, these are perpetual futures, not spot, no actual bitcoin is being bought or sold except maybe in the spot market by the same players for hedging Reminiscences of a stock operator... The counterparty is the dex smart contract platform which is financed/capitalized by the yield farmers/investors, the mechanics are detailed in the docs Hyperliquid, DyDx, GMX GNS, among other "forks" are dexes that utilize similar architectural design https://hyperliquid.gitbook.io/hyperliquid-docs/trading https://rankfi.com/perpetual-dexs/
