Very small, speculative investment for me luckily but yes I feel for the ones who got sucked into some of these coins through word of mouth etc. I actually posted in the last couple of months that the shitcoins were doing well and i was looking forward to rolling the funds into BTC.Didnt happen.haha
The real problem here is that you guys are in a hostile environment right now, Trump will do anything in his power to explode the crypto bubble. He was late to onboard Bitcoin and if he wants to be in, the price has to drop.
Agree. I thought the same thing when Bill Gates chimed in the other day. Its a pendulum type thing. At one end,no one wanted to be the first in and be laughed at.At this end,no one wants to be last in and be laughed at/dominated. The ones with the big money who never thought theyd need to get involved with something so new and volatile are now getting worried about what the scoreboard will look like. Ego protection activated. Now they seek a discount before entry.
Solana stole a lot of ETH's thunder. This 'may' get worse when CME finally gets approval to launch their Solana futures. I may dabble a little if/when they get FOPs for it, though I am sure it will be a long time before they get liquid.
It is only a problem if a bitcoiner needs to sell when the price is low, personally I do not plan to sell any bitcoin unless I have to bitcoin is our savings account, long term buy and hold If bitcoin goes down a lot, my financial advice to you is to buy at least 1 whole bitcoin and put it away... bitcoin price will go much higher and will not stop
The biggest exchange(Binance) sold basically all of their BTC, ETH and USDT. When insiders sell, it's important. Ponzi schemers, your days are numbered.
If Binance already sold, that means they cannot sell again, it's a good thing Binance is getting ready to be sold to Blackrock, maybe?
This is actually pretty big news. Its on the order of what Germany had to sell. Eventually we will get to the point where there isn't going to be a block of 10,000 coins available and any big players left on the sidelines will absolutely move price. These OTC desks will probably have little supply and just tell the huge firms that they have to buy it on the open market. On the flip side, if someone as big as Binance goes away, I imagine the spot trading activity will initially take a big hit which might very well mean a crash in prices for many altcoins and shitcoins.
