    If you want a happy new year, i am BEGGING you to sell all your bitCONS or suffer the consequences.

    AT MOST you have like 2 weeks to sell at a reasonably good price.

    Microstrategy is already down like -50% from the top. These people like Saylor are not geniuses, they are frauds. Bitcoin is coming up next.

    Bitcoin at $200,000 in 2024?
    Bitcoin broke the $100,000 level in December 2024 after Donald Trump, largely seen as friendly to the cryptocurrency, won the U.S. elections. Industry executives and crypto investors see strong momentum for bitcoin, with several predicting that it will surge to $200,000 this year.

    {Think maybe headline meant to show ... $200,00 in 2025?}

    Dream on.

    Tether is now banned in Europe. Just a matter of time before US treasury takes action against them.

    Tether implosion = BTC below $10K

    2025 is the year

    Honestly guys, to me, some of these predictions of $150 or 200k just isn't good enough. These are numbers that should hit from just slow and steady adoption. But this cycle, or in the next year or two, we should absolutely have nation states adopting it, and not just the US. So many podcasts that I'm watching show how Russia is interested, and how the entire world needs a neutral reserve asset.

    We have so little adoption right now which is highly concentrated in my opinion. There are still far too many smart people who are against Bitcoin, people with money, and if they finally start to come over, there just isn't any supply left.

    I do worry that gold can steal some of this thunder because of how much is stock-piled by China and other countries, but gold is kind of useless because you can't really settle in gold, and nobody should trust stated reserves that cannot be proved.

    Anyway, so I guess what I'm saying is that this year there really should be fireworks. Luke Gromen just recently had a great episode where he said that the US cannot afford to be left out of a reserve asset that other countries might get in on, which is totally true. Even if Trump doesn't announce a Bitcoin reserve on day one, he likely will be supporting it secretly because its too important to not get in on.

    And when you add all this up, a move to $150k or $200k just doesn't make sense for what these fundamental shifts will really mean. It has to be much, much higher when any of these major announcements are made.

    Bitcoin rising today doesn't make any sense. Liquidity is starting to fall in the equity markets so BTC should fall as well. I think it is likely headed lower in the short-term.

    If BTC is a liquidity sponge, today's rally won't hold.
