Need a cbdc to implement taxing unrealized gains. Good use case for smart contracts.

  2. Lol you guys are so dense...you can't even do the math. You have no idea how macro economics work. Demand will determine the price. The cost of outstanding debt will determine the demand.

Bitcoin would need to be worth 1.6M per coin to pay a 35T debt with the total supply. THIS is how bitcoin is going to be elevated to these astounding levels because it needs to in order for there not to be supply issues. AND in such a scenario, retail is not going to be invited along for the ride. :)

Burying your head in the sand won't help...this is why I moved everything entirely to etfs years ago...so while you guys are liquidating I'll be loading up. :)

Rug pull is inevitable. One of these days that we are going to wake up to a fat -20% candle and i will feel like a kid on a christmas morning.

Well then you obviously will make a lousy trader, needing justification and being right to get your psychological reward.

  6. To be fair, this also benefits the poor. More jobs in yacht building are created :sneaky:

There will already be a 20% or more pull back in the future. That's the way Bitcoin is. You're not saying anything that we don't already know. You're just an annoyance

  8. Mara pulled back 13.5% today... hoping for it to drop again tomorrow, which (may) be enough for me to add to my positions.

    No, you're way off.

Did you hear anyone say they were going to pay off the entire debt with Bitcoin? Has it ever occured to you that they are just going to make as much as they can possibly make? And how is retail not going to be allowed to trade Bitcoin if the government is already trading?

Have fun with those ETFs, we all know the huge fees associated with those. At least when I buy from an exchange, I know exactly how much Bitcoin I'm getting and I only pay a little .01% trading fee.

  10. It was an EXAMPLE! Extrapolate from it FFS. Seriously every day I am vindicated as to why I have a (2008) Lambo and you punters do not! Like I said, Bitcoin knowledge should be measured in lambos and yachts. If you don't have either, quietly, excuse yourself from the conversation.

Huge fees? 0.25%? Lol I think some are even waving their fees until a certain market cap is reached. Also, I can put it in a tfsa and pay no tax on the capital gains. How about you?
