How do you distinguish ownership numbers or just the trading of bitcoin, with actual use of the crypto as though it were a currency?
Are there any places you are aware of where merchandise and/or services are priced in Bitcoin? I don't mean that you can pay for them in bitcoin but are priced in bitcoin. I believe you can buy a starbux coffee with bitcoin, but I also believe that it is priced in fiat and converted to bitcoin. Is there anywhere where the items are priced in bitcoin and converted to fiat?
Once things start to be priced in bitcoin as a regular occurrence, you will have wished you bought some on this very same day you are arguing with us.
Blockchain analysis You can get reports from CryptoQuant, Glassnode, Chainalysis or from payment processors such as Bitpay or CoinPayments
I think you need to consider that all of this trading is really just the preliminary work necessary in order for mass world adoption. Its like of like Tesla with their FSD. First it just kept you in your lane, then it worked only on the highway, now you can maybe use it on city streets. And although I doubt its gonna happen soon, one day it really will be fully ready to take over all driving tasks. It can't happen overnight. Likewise, for bitcoin to reach mass adoption and deep penetration, you need all of these other fringe markets. Its brings awareness and tests the network, etc. As I told deaddog, once you see your much desired mass usage, you won't like the price if you don't have any.
Don't fall for it, my friend. Some posters argue in bad faith and move the goal posts Just because my TradingView subscription that I paid in bitcoin was priced in $ does not make it any less valid
You comment doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Won't its price already be over the moon by the time it has achieved the mass usage you refer to? And so, how can people use a means of exchange (currency) that they are priced out of? How do you connect those dots? Will I still not be able to use regular currency to make my purchases? And if so, how is your point not moot? In which case, the bitcoin serves only as a speculative vehicle. Which has been many critics' point all along.
I note that you did not answer my question, but merely told me to search. I would think that a proponent such as yourself would have such numbers at your fingertips, at least in ballpark figures.
So the answer is no, you don't know of anything that is actually priced in bitcoin. I'm not saying that you can't pay in bitcoin, I pay in Canadian dollars but the service is priced in US dollars.
