I am just curious, what positive news crypto fans expect to get what would cause a decoupling from the general market and a bull run? Usage/speed isn't increasing or have no effect on price, the PR is not good with all the fraud going on.

So what is supposed to kickstart the next phase?

  3. "Usually, the best times to accumulate into a 'market' is when it is at its most distressed state when DOOM and GLOOM and FEAR REIGN supreme, one such market that fits the bill right now is the crypto casino!" (N.W. 2023)

BTC isn't as distressed as I might have expected.

I can't help wondering if it may be in for another leg down (final capitulation low) before this bear market is exhausted.

Doesn't answer my question. This is just a buy the dip recommendation.

So again, what kind of good news crypto fans are waiting for? I am not aware of any, that is why I am asking.

I don't recall there being any particular good news when it started going back up after the 2014 and 2018 bear markets.

BTC has repeated this boom and bust cycle often enough now that folks just expect it to continue doing the same thing. This has instilled the belief that, if you buy near the lows of a bear market, you are guaranteed to make a killing within a couple of years or so.

It's all purely driven by speculation (gambling), human fear & greed, FOMO, get rich quick. There are no fundamentals in this market.

You've been around Bitcoin that long but it's crazy that you don't see any value for Bitcoin other than those you listed?

Bitcoin is a global monetary network. It never goes down, 24/7/365 unlike others, i.e. swift, fedwire, etc

It has the ability to disrupt banking and payment systems , i.e. Wells Fargo, PayPal, Apple Pay, JP Morgan, etc

It is truly global in nature, it works seamlessly in Brazil as it does in Dubai, as it does in Japan, as it does in New York or Los Angeles

Network and adoption are growing, ICYMI whole countries are adopting Bitcoin, like Brazil, El Salvador, and there are other LatAm in the works the leading candidate in Argentina is pro-Bitcoin. Africa has adopted Bitcoin

150 million Bitcoin users in the world, what do you think will happen when that grows to 500 million? or 1 Billion, or 3 Billion users?

and ET people like you and the previous 2 are still saying the same thing you're saying now....
