Why does he care what comes out of his pie-hole? It is not his own money.

Another rich fucker accumulating btc since 6/2022

More money than brains. It's not safe to store over $2 Billion on a single btc address, which means 1 private key for anyone to steal!!

I would store this on over 100 btc addresses with private keys stored in many geographically diverse locations... but I do not have $2 Billion, so there's that

Did I read somewhere that it's a multisig address so much safer??

I wonder if this is bullish or bearish. I think the last thing we want is a big whale that can dump one day, but on the other hand, it they are scooping up supply for long term, it limits what is available. Just finding out that 80k BTC that people thought they owned via FTX but didn't means that the true demand has been suppressed. I fail to understand how there is even enough Bitcoin out there when I consider guys like John and Baron and other here easily have at least 10. Then you have guys like Saylor or musk with big bags, Satoshi with his, and so many other rich fuckers out there. When you consider the entire world cannot even own 0.1, how is there enough to go around even now??

    https://news.bitcoin.com/everything-you-should-know-about-bitcoin-address-formats/

Multisig addresses a certain type of security which is trust between co-owners of the bitcoins

For example you can have a 2 of 3 multisig wallet, so it requires at least 2 private keys to sign a transaction, may be good for you, your wife and your lawyer in case one of you dies... just hope your wife doesn't leave you for the lawyer, lol

Or Blackrock, private key holders, CEO, CFO and the intern :D

But if you're a multi-billionaire, you only need 1 private key no need to share the trust or access with anyone else, but as I said in my previous post, it's better to store these many bitcoins spread out definitely on more than 1 address/private key combo

You can google bit flip which was a concern in the very early days of Bitcoin re: storing too many bitcoins on a single address

This is bullish. This guy hates fiat, just dumping fiat for 5,000 bitcoins like fiat is water, hence the comment on one of the replies it could be a "money printer" i.e. a country that can print its own fiat currencies

Anyway, if he wants to dump later, Bitcoin doesn't really care or cannot do anything about it, same as when Tesla dumped 75% of their bitcoin holdings
