No margin call in perp futures that I'm aware of. Liquidation is the way

There's neither a margin call or liquidation when hodling bitcoins and crypto assets in local wallets

 

Whats the difference between liquidation and a margin call?

 

I only started trading a few weeks ago, someone is more qualified to answer that

 

A margin call is the last step before liquidation. If you don't post more margin, then the broker will liquidate your position.

 

I understand this is a leveraged product. How much do you stand to make or lose per contract. (I'm assuming contracts like index futures) when BTC move $1000.

 

I was wondering as Johny said there was no margin call.
