I got out of BTC a while back. Around 15,890. I'm looking to get back in once the dust settles... Not yet... Percentage-wise, BTC was one of my best trade in 2017. But I didn't put a lot in. If I had put everything I had back in 2017 instead of daytrading futures and got out when I got out at 15,860 then I would be pretty set by now. Futures daytrading has been a net negative exercise for me to be honest. Hindsight.
You are right lawrence-lugar, I can definitely put that cash to work somewhere else, especially in my trading account. I am selling, I am out. Breakeven.
I bought ETH at 593/594/610. I still have outstanding limit order at 550,500,480. Not sure if those will get hit...
A crazy night for the futures market (biggest downgap and back) and bitcoin following along, bottoming at 5920. Anything around 6K is a buy and the minimum target should be 8K.
Hey "experts" Bitcoin may end the day down just like many other days the past few weeks (and just like equities the last few days) but it is already $1000 off its low.
Should have loaded up the boat. But I'm OK with the amount of ETH I bought. At the next panic, I will load up the boat. hehe It's odd that it's correlated to equities markets. Thought it was a safe haven. Regardless, trade what you see not what you think..
I'm not a HODLer! I sold out all of my ETHs. Made 20% overnight! No need to be greedy. Only regret is that I should have bought more down there..
