I bought Bitcoin at $6000 back in November 2017. I am still holding. I wish I had sold at the top. But oh well. I guess I will hold it.
Interesting. btc is not different, its worse than "normal trading world". You were WAY off... price went up 100% in 2 weeks after your post. 10,000 was definitelly not the top. Great stats. Not choppy? Keep buying.
Times are rough. Not for anything... how did you manage to lose a 335% gain? FYI, HODL is not a viable trading strategy.
Interestingly, cryptos moved with the market in the last 3 days. Even AH they seem to move together, futures being down badly right now and bitcoin is following direction. On a bigger time frame, the general market followed bitcoin's blow up. On the weekly chart SPX went vertical and as we know what goes up...
Hold it till break even? or until you puke it up? I would recommend the first, or even better sell it while you still have a profit.
Holding, or converting a trade into a longer term investing play is a fool's game. Playah Dead, or flat or recovery money...could be much better spent on executing winning trades for the right here and now. Hoping and praying is not a valid trading strategy. You have to structure the game's variables to as much to your advantage and skill as possible. Eliminate chance and randomness and Hope. Obama's era is over.
