Bitcoin over 100k

  1. I never thought that the price of bitcoin was based on demand. This changes everything.

  2. Trying to explain these concepts to Bitcoiners is like teaching economics at a clown college. If you compare to something like oil, or Apple stock you will find price is not just based on the current popular mania but it's actually related to some actual meaningful economic activity.

There are actual fundamentals to analyze.

There is actually something to "store".

Bitcoin is just hype. It's no more special than any other crypto, it's just more popular.

Bitcoiners will point to various attributes of Bitcoin as if they're unique or special but they are not.

I expect that Bitcoin will eventually go they way of Netscape navigator.

So actual productive businesses are going to use Bitcoin by using it as little as possible and cashing out immediately. And this extra layer of effort and cost is beneficial to them how?

And what if the customer returns the product and wants a refund? Now they're on the hook for whatever crazy swings have happened in Bitcoin prices.

Say I run a business selling work boots online. It potentially takes weeks for the product to reach the customer. I have no interest in speculating on Bitcoins price for 2 weeks while we find out if the boots fit. I also don't need or want the ability to accept money from countries and people currently sanctioned by my government. Nor am I interested in shipping to third world hotbeds of fraud.
By using traditional finance, I have some reasonable expectation that the name and address on the account are actually real. Imagine that.

The tinfoil hats types are the doom of Bitcoin. They refused to design in basic features that legitimate business expect, while thinking that by holding Bitcoin they're going to be immune to the effects of government deficit spending.
They seem to think they'll be able to get away with not paying taxes, while also not seeing any increase in prices due to government spending contending for the resources they want.

Yeah. Good luck with your sovereign citizen nonsense. Or maybe just pay your taxes and not go to jail.

Lmao you are a naive ignorant narrow minded weak and pathetic individual ”or just pay your taxes and not go to jail”

This fool thinks he’s a hero for paying taxes???? WHERE DO YOUR TAXES GO????? WHAT DO YOUR TAXES DO?????? WHERE DID YOUR TAXES COME FROM??? All fiat is debt backed by nothing created with infinite supply you clearly have a very deep mental issue going on you need to be put into a mental home you are completely delusional OR you are just the epitome of retardation hahaha this guy thinks paying taxes to satan worshipping zionist pedophiles who enslave you poison you and brainwash you and continually print money for no fucking reason without backing it by ANYTHING is the way to go still and makes him sound smart. This guy sure loves his Monopoly money for his BUSINESS which he thinks is more IMPORTANT than having SOUND MONEY. Fuck you fuck your business normal people don’t give a shit about your profit margins and fiat currencies or return policies and fluctuations on an asset compared with your satanic Monopoly money. Your problem is pricing everything btc/usd eur/usd. Remove your trash Monopoly money from the equation it’s disgusting and should not exist. Aw boo hoo the price might fluctuate I know let me create a fake Monopoly money and fuck the whole world over and use that instead.

Tells you everything you need to know about these piece of shit boomers trying to extort us for houses and goods now that they have inflated their Monopoly money into oblivion.

Get fucked boomer. You can’t manipulate the natural order of things forever. There has been a regime change and the old are being exposed for their mental illness / retardation and for their cruel and evil ways.

You cannot see how far removed from reality you are it’s a shame.

Do you always make yourself look stupid by spouting assumptions based on nothing? Of course you do you can’t help it you’re another brainwashed government puppet you are literally nothing just a brainwashed slave hahahaha you poor little creature.

BTC has been fluctuating but staying above $90K and nearing $100K. January could be pivotal as Trump’s second term starting. I’m watching closely to see if it remains above $100K for stronger momentum.|

  6. On the flip side to boomers, you have dfm (dumb-fuck-millenails) running around praising BLM brainwashing they received and who purposely go out of their way to wreck and ruin white men's lives for standing up to a drugged-out abusive degenerate who was a carrier criminal and abusing women on the subway (or anywhere else).

  7. Different payment methods for the convenience of the customer or with some sort of added value are introduced all the time. The benefit is in attracting a customer that wishes to use bitcoin.

In the scenario I provided, they have swapped immediately to fiat.If they wish to take the ride with BTC then they need to do their homework.I would suggest a hybrid approach at the outset

This transaction may be more suited for fiat.Different transactions call for different payment methods.

The first point is that its possible.Nothing you posed is insurmountable.

The second point is that we are at 3% adoption with volatility in full swing.Nobody is calling for mainstream bitcoin transacting in 2024.We are still in a very early 'awareness and understanding' phase.

Unfortunately for the little guy,he will need to see Microsoft and Apple get onboard before he even starts to do his research.Ironically he was slow to act on Apple and Microsoft in their infancy too and finds himself again behind the pack.

This is the tin foil hat stuff.Fraud has been around for a lot longer than Bitcoin.Id dare to say that a fake invoice is created every second.

Similarly,if youre in business and turning your nose up at customers and money because its '3rd world' then you probably need to go back to the drawing board.

  8. Except that the interest in Bitcoin is speculating on its value not buying things.

The very reason people are interested in it: rapid upward price swings
Is the very reason it's nearly useless to regular, legitimate business.

So because fraud happens sometimes, you're not going to bother trying to stop your business from being involved in it?
Try considering the situation as an adult that takes some responsibility.

Ah, the good old "everyone who won't do business the way I think they should is dumb." Yeah, why wouldn't I want to accept pseudonymous currency for international payments from hotbeds of fraud and corruption!

Let me drill this down to first principles.

We accept money for our work because we need to store our contribution to society in something. You can't expect a business to pay their staff in oranges or egss. Clearly, with the modern world, you need an intermediary step and not rely on the barter system.

So what do you use? Do you use a piece of paper? If you have to work hard for $100 that is printed on a piece of paper, but then you see governments printing these pieces of paper by the truck load, how do you feel about the work you had to do to attain this piece of paper while someone else just gets handed a piece of paper for doing nothing? What's worse is that if you go to the store and want to use this piece of paper to buy something, but the store wants more and more pieces of paper for the same thing because everyone else around you has the same piece of paper that they didn't have to work hard for, how does this make you feel?

Then you start to wonder, why do we let the government print out these pieces of paper to begin with? Why can't I print my own? Who even creates a system where one side has the power to print up these pieces of paper, that I have to use, but they give themselves the power to print as much as they want for their own benefit?

If you can truly understand this, then maybe you can see why Bitcoin isn't just a fad or hype.

If you don't sit in cash, what's the upside of bitcoin? Normal people put excess money in interest bearing or other investments.
