I am having fun trading an account at Bitfinex. I have about 600 litecoins and currently a fraction of a bitcoin there. I have quite a few bitcoins safely stored offline that are long term investments. The hope is to not get "goxxed" at one of these overseas exchanges. If it happens, I was aware of the risk. My other concern is getting liquidated on a flash crash which a good reason not to go heavy on leverage. today: -closed out of 50 litecoin on leverage trade. used gains to buy 1.91 litecoins outright. -196 litecoins swapped at something like 2.5% interest -long 0.5 bitcoin on leverage at an entry of $417.25
btc up to 513 and ltc at 13. btc could potentially pop another 100 on what I assume to be short covering. I'm stopping this thread at the beginning. I just don't see how anything good could come of it. good trading.
