  2. Nice! Hope you get a solid return. I dunno why some posters get so flustered with these type of calls, I would have thought that if anything these threads are a good way to look into what other traders are seeing

  3. So what did he ever invent? What did Jobs invent? Jack shit. They had a vision that's all. Millions of entrepreneurs have visions that never work out. Even most of musk's or job's visions fell through. The real magic was done by the unknown engineers and programmers.

I believe that we will look back in 20 years and laugh about how stupid we were to so grossly overpay CEOs over the past 100 years. Their work and input is worth much less than what they are paid for.

You are probably correct that he is not Leonardo, but he partecipated in creating PayPal, in the 90's created a videogame, and partecipated in the concept for web based calls. I don't know him that well tough and I agree CEO are overpaid, like football (soccer) players.

Looking back, we could go back thousands of years and find unknown engineers everywhere who received not credits.

  5. I bet Elon cannot write a single line of intelligent computer code and he would have no idea how to design or conceptualize a simplistic electronic circuit. So much about "participate". Same morons as movie producers. They do nothing. They walk in with a wad of bills and place their chips on a pony. That's what they get paid hundreds of millions for. Very different from the likes of Jamie Dimon who fought in the trenches for decades and got his hands dirty alongside his soldiers.

From now on, you can boast that you make a higher salary than Steve Jobs ever made in his time as Apple CEO. Every year from 1997 to 2011, Steve Jobs made an annual salary of just $1.

Was Jobs overpaid? All programmers and engineers at Apple had much more salary than Jobs.

CEO's have to have a vision and know how to put all the pieces together to build a succesful company. That's their job, not playing programmer or engineer.

Everybody is free to try to build companies like Apple or Amazon. Just give up your job and do it. Nobody will stop you. And it will be an easy job as the programmers and engineers do the work. You don't have to do anything apparently. Just take the big salary.

PS: I don't like Musk, Bezos or Jobs. But I worked many years in top management and I understand that finding CEO's like the three I mentioned is very diffult.

Just my opinion based on many years of experience.

  9. Yes, as long as people don't rise up against this nepotistic group at the top and sees what is really going on. This group has conducted the largest power grab in human history over the past 100 years.

  10. That is utter bullshit. He was paid that as cash salary but was awarded millions of shares. Please don't play dumber than you really are.

You don't get the point at all. There are also hundreds of thousands of companies that are run by CEOs who understand the actual products they are making, rose through the ranks (necessary to actually learn), conduct themselves ethically, are paid a reasonable amount, and treat their employees with respect. Their heart bleeds for each laid off person and their families and they try everything to keep those who show loyalty and work hard. That is the point. Not that everyone can try to become a crooked and unethical CEO.
