See, I know you don't trade, you must be one of those I NEVER LOSE types, LMAO! Look what happened to BTC today, punk!
I know you didn't reply to me, but... When you posted, btc was on downtrend at around $48Ksh, did you put a short position on btc or any type of position that would benefit? If you did have a short position, you would have taken a drawdown of over $4K. Wonder how you would have felt or if you would have taken the loss and closed the position? I have a 20 btc long position and when btc went from $50K to around $44.5K (I think it went lower but had to drive out to the store), I felt annoyed, no fear or panic I have other crypto positions that went down, too, and are still down, but I don't sweat the short term moves against me as my view is long term and my guess is that btc will hit $100K before eoy (less than 3 months) which I have posted many times even when btc was at $30K You claim you have a strong character, but you were hiding when btc was going up and now you show up when btc went down I doubt you would have handled that $4K move against you, since you could not even post on an anonymous forum and face up to a bad call, it shows you are weak
Bitcoin, like TSLA GME valuations and this ridiculously overbought market, are hard to understand. It usually ends with a spectacular selloff. Daytrading btc related stock like RIOT MARA COIN etc I can see, but I am not buying bitcoin here. I don't trade what I don't understand. Good luck with it. Seriously, some intangible invisible electronic made up "currency" backed by...? I agree with I think it's monopoly money. If you'd told folks about it years ago you'd be laughed out of the room. It may end badly. Funny money I say, harumph. Try explaining it with a straight face to an older person... "Well it's made up online money made by computers, and.... " really you buy that stuff? sigh. Not a recommendation, just imho #oldfut
I'm not sure I would put much value into listening to someone talk negatively about crypto when his first comment is that "I don't know much about bitcoin or crypto."
There are no smart people in modern society. Smart went out in 2007. Modern culture is all about influence, however right or wrong it may be. Whoever has the biggest microphone, and audience, can greatly control and sway people, minds, souls, business, commerce, trades, trends, politics. Everyone is being a Cheerleader/Ruler/Dictator for their own cause, gain, enrichment and benefit. And asking everyone else to join my direction, join my movement. All of this is very evident and on display across all social media channels.
40k still very much a target. I think it's heading back towards 29k, perhaps 80 SMA on the weekly chart around 26k currently, but 40k is being conservative as 50% fibs comes first. But that's a short term opinion. As far as longer-term is concerned, has any of the bulls considered the timing of the parabolic move in BTC, it coincides with uncertainty linked directly to COVID-19 pandemic and what seemed like an indefinite printing of gazzilion of USD, in the UK the epidemic is pretty much over now, we are just left with scientists and political bureaucrats who continue to milk this to their advantage, but as it stands, the epidemic here is kaput, so we aren't going to slide into the abyss in form of indefinite QE, which gives more credence to a thought that the parabolic upmove in BTC has run its course.
