70+% of NW invested in crypto? That's insane from a risk management perspective regardless of the most recent moves. That makes you a true believer.
I don't understand why you say it's insane from a risk perspective. BTC has averaged 160% gain per year for the last decade. Why is it risky putting your money into the fastest consistently appreciating asset that we've seen in our lifetime?
Because a fast move like today can equally wipe out hundreds if not thousands of percent made in a day or two. Are you prepared to potentially close the week having lost 70% of your entire life savings? If the US and China came out with a coordinated statement to immediately ban all cryptos what do you think would happen? I respect your distrust in fiat but what people can and cannot do is still mostly driven by regulation. Are you saying there is a zero probability of a complete ban in the two most important economies in the world? And that this won't have lasting consequences for btc?
Just for the record, my average BTC buy price is $20,778 and my average ETH price is $1,397. Last time I checked, doubling your money is pretty cool.
Sure and congrats for your great entry, Baron. But the percent of NW you are invested in appears beyond risky to me. All the power to you, we all gotta do what we gotta do.
