No, haven't looked at my binance account for a long time they've probably stolen the money by now. Still waiting for XMR stablecoin.
You can short GBTC, BITO or CME bitcoin futures and hold short position until btc hits 20k Where did you get the idea that Monero is coming out with an xmr stablecoin? https://www.getmonero.org/community/hangouts/
lol, cryptos are open-source, you can make it happen!! Let us know when you release the project, might support it by buying in
I've been looking at Dai to see how it's done. I'm not sure you can create a stablecoin without a smart contract capability. Like how would you lock up XMR? You can't.
I don't know how you would do it on the Monero blockchain, you're the genius with the idea But, on bitcoin, L2 is how they would accomplish smartcontracts, so maybe you can create an L2 on the Monero chain Dai is algorithmic stablecoin backed by a basket of crypto assets including Eth and stablecoins created by the MakerDAO If your interest is algorithmic, you should check out, UST on Terra Luna chain, MIM, Mai, and maybe go full on stablecoin pegged to something else that's not fiat like another cyrpto btc/ftm/avax, heck you should check out Tomb and Tomb forks with their stablecoins peg to a native crypto There's also rebase coins like AMPL But all those algorithmic stablecoins are on transparent blockchain, so you can fork and create on your Monero L2 chain? Go for it, Mr genius Ideaman, you're the best!!
A lot of interesting projects, clearly decentralized smart contracts have value and network effects are king here. L2/side chains seem like the way to go but there has to be a way to peg something like XMR 1:1 to USD without centralization.
@RedDuke is planning to release a blockchain, so you guys may be able to collaborate Here are a few projects that might get you in the right direction https://help.blockstream.com/hc/en-us/articles/900002016823-What-is-the-Liquid-Network- https://www.stacks.co/ https://abracadabra.money/
I know, those links are to give you ideas on how to implement your stablecoins project on Monero blockchain but if you already know how to do it, then just ignore those links/projects Tbh, I don't really have a clue how you would accomplish it because there are many complex methods of how Monero achieves privacy https://www.getmonero.org/get-started/what-is-monero/
