Bitcoin Exchanges - why are the prices so far apart?

    This is a bizzare reply. Are you disputing the fact that dozens of Bitcoin exchanges have failed? Do you not grasp the concept that although your Bitcoin is safe while it's Bitcoin you are faced with counterparty risk when you convert it back to another currency using an exchange? Do you think that exchanges can't fail or be hacked if the price of Bitcoin is high? What exactly was your point?

    This is my view right now, so.... like $300 price difference? Not sure what is up with that, am I missing something? CryptoCompare vs. Coinbase's GDAX.... Can anyone explain?
