Bitcoin as almost secret payment to Capitol rioters

Lots of dark market vendors know what they're doing with BTC so the one's you read about make all sorts of mistakes.

The cops go for the low hanging fruit and with drug dealers there's always plenty of dopes!

If BTC were as traceable as a Paypal/bank like payment there wouldn't be any dark markets in the first place but every year they get larger and larger. Also, there's a hidden advantage to society of dark markets (not saying they're good for society) in that people will always buy drugs and seek them out, but with dark markets there's no violence, no street shootings over turf, no dealers hanging around on corners and so on. Imagine if all drug deals were done online, what would our mean streets and bad hoods look like in relation to the present?

Women statistically are in so much more danger from buying drugs on the street so buying them online is a massive boost to their safety (assuming the drugs don't kill them!).

Again, not supporting any type of drug dealing or using just pointing out some facts.

  2. If it came from a foreign govt, instead of an individual, it could be an act of war.
I would like to know WHO was responsible though.
Many people have speculated that BLM and ANTIFA riots were funded by a gentleman with the last name of Soros.

  4. Not totally anonymous. A good chainalysis can track addresses with links and find out who owns a wallet in most cases. It's too interconnected to be truly anonymous with BTC. BTC was never intended as a privacy coin, per se. Other coins do that.

  5. This is just a string of rhetorical fallacies. Ipso hoc ergo propter hoc, slippery slope, guilt by association for starters.

  6. Disagree. Why was Ross Ulbricht only caught after he made mistakes? Without making mistakes a bitcoin transaction cannot be traced to the personal information in a cold wallet. You generalized from a few cases where the owners of wallets made mistakes. Feel free to search for the Latin term of this argumentative fallacy.

Just can't fix stupid can you. How's that satanic cult of pedophile cannibals you're working on busting open coming? And "the Kraken", whatever happened to that? It's hard to believe you people can cross the street without getting hit by a bus, seriously.

Not only is the article sloppy leftist propaganda, but none of the individuals and entities mentioned had anything to do with the capitol riot.

As to the source of funds, it states quite clearly that the BTC came from some French guy. Motivation? He probably read Camp of the Saints.

"On January 4, 2021, Fuentes discussed killing state legislators who were unwilling to overturn the results of the 2020 election."

The French guy who supposedly sent the coins is allegedly dead. :)
