Birthers Hail Judge’s Decision That Could “Depose” Obama

Discussion in 'Politics' started by Mvector, Jan 4, 2012.

  1. Okay jem, let's be frank here, as grown men. I don't know if you have been heavily involved in politics or not.

You think BAC was too big to fail. Think about the US government.

I know you have the best intentions in mind, but Obama has been President for four years now. Do you seriously think that anyone anywhere will let this birther stuff gain traction???

If you do, then you are not aware of human beings and their utter dependence on systems.

How is that for coded language? I say again, Obama will be on all ballots of all fifty states. So you can let this go now.

    Sounds of a birther backpedaling.

You still haven't answered why you would want it tested in court for it not to be considered yet another waste of time worthy of attracting a fine , that a child born in USA on American soil by an American mother should not be considered a Natural Born Citizen.

How exactly would that be unnatural, not born or not a citizen, you goof.

So he provides a notarized copy of the original BC. Done.

You know I despise Barrack Obama's policies and want him out of the office but I just don't get this whole tactic. I'm a Goldwater arch-conservative but I simply can't get my mind around the elligibility "issue".

and this is all we need to know to explain your position on AGW. Pathetic that you put ideology before science.

You must be pretty butt-hurt after that reaming yesterday.

This thread, however, is concerned with election eligibility. Your thread is still around here somewhere, maybe you could post there lol.

  8. Not sure if you're just trolling or really believe what you posted, but USSC has already ruled on the definition of Natural Born Citizen since 1898.

See the USSC decision: United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898)
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wong_Kim_Ark

"The citizenship status of Wong—a man born in the United States to Chinese parents around 1871—was challenged, based on a law restricting Chinese immigration and prohibiting immigrants from China from becoming naturalized U.S. citizens. Eventually, this issue reached the Supreme Court, which ruled in Wong's favor, holding that the citizenship language in the Fourteenth Amendment encompassed essentially everyone born in the U.S.—even the U.S.–born children of foreigners—and could not be limited in its effect by an act of Congress ."

The bolded part is the important part. USSC agreed with and reinforced the very definiton of Natural Born Citizen in the US Constitution.
Basically, anyone born on US soil is a US citizen regardless of the parents' citizenship status. There are certain exceptions to this law, but they are pretty clear cut such as children of foreign diplomats(foreign ministers/people that US doesn't have jurisdiction thereof) or children of invading armies(enemies of US).

    So, your fact is wrong.

I do not know what evidence will be required or submitted.

I do know that if someone submits a birth certificate someone will have to vouch for it under penalty of perjury. (its called authentication of evidence)

but again... we are going to have to watch to see what this georgia court decides will be necessary to comply with the law in georgia.

For a few years... I have opined here on et this will not be about getting obama thrown out or invalidated.

This will be about seeing whether he runs again.
I do think that in at least one state, he will be required to provide evidence to support his eligibility. If he does not I will be surprised. I have no idea what he will submit. For all i know he could have a picture of his birth happening in the hospital in Honolulu.
