Read the statute above. For you commies here let me explain a statute is a law. If a law allows people who are not born in HI to get a hawaiian birth certificate upon application of someone like their mom at a later date.... The birth certificate is not trustworthy as to the things stated upon it. Read it again. Obama could have been born anywhere and his mom could have applied for birth certificate at a later date and said he was born in HI. Why would she do that. Perhaps she figured she someday might have a custody problem with a guy from Africa.
It did apply to McCain. Myself an many many others wanted to know more about his birth place. It may or may not have been a factor for other Presidents. But in the case of Obama we know his Dad was African and we know his mom moved all over. We also know he has multiple names and gone to school in foreign countries. He has also hidden just about all of his personal records. When McCain would not reveal his medical records I figured he probably had cancer or some other problem that would make us question whether he would last 4 years. When people go to the trouble of hiding stuff - you figure there is something to hide. When a major league baseball players says he takes the fifth - I figure he probably did steroids or growth hormone or something illegal - don't you.
If LAW allows people who are NOT born in HI to get a Hawaiian birth certificate become a US BORN citizen (legally not actually) that will allow LEGALLY anybody including Obama become a US president. Assuming Obama WAS born outside of the US, his mother LEGALLY applied for the birth certificate. Obama LEGALLY became a US born citizen. LEGALLY born US citizen can become a US President. So professor where is the violation of the law?
