The Supreme Court doesn't want to decide. They have refused to hear arguments on several occasions. I think they do not want to rule on the elgibility of a sitting President. They may decide to hear a case in 2013 if anyone is still interested then.
Not sure but I believe she was I think she had already married his father so I think that would have made her a citizen.I think Trump is a natural born citizen and if he produced an official State BC showing he was born here I have no issues about his eligibility
So let's finish this very entertaining and I guess for birthers educative thread: Actually, yes and yes. In plain English a natural born citizen is who was born on US soil, as compared to a citizen who became a citizen later in life by migrating here, like Arnold, for example. So Arnold, The Terminator is ineligible for the US presidency, but a kid, whose Mexican mother was smuggled across the border while pregnant with the kid and the kid was born inside the USA, is. Dred Scott v. Sandford, 60 U.S. 393 (1857): In regard to the "natural born citizen" clause, the dissent states that such citizenship is acquired by place of birth (jus soli), not through blood or lineage (jus sanguinis): Clear now???? For weekend reading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_born_citizen "On June 18, 1787, Alexander Hamilton submitted to the Convention a sketch of a plan of government. Article IX, section 1 of Hamilton's plan provided: No person shall be eligible to the office of President of the United States unless he be now a Citizen of one of the States, or hereafter be born a Citizen of the United States. -------------------------------------------------------- "On July 28, 2009, Hawaii Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino issued a statement saying, "I ... have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen."On July 27, 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.Res. 593, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Hawaii's statehood, including the text, "Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961".The vote passed 378-0" ------------------------------ In even painer English, if nothing else, Congress made Obama a natural born citizen.
Hey I used the birther time machine and went into the future. Look what I have found: Maria Ramirez, the 54th President of the USA: "She was born in 2008, just 5 miles from the Mexican border, after her pregnant mother illegally crossed over to the USA, and gave her birth on US soil. As a natural born citizen, she was instantly eligible for presidency and won the 2052 elections by a landside, with 82% of the votes." Maria in her 20s, when she was supporting her family as a model, while attending Vassar college: Mrs. Ramirez at the time of her inauguration, surrounded by her children and nieces and nephews:
Someone is lying. According to Obama's Kenyan (paternal) grandmother, as well as his half-brother and half-sister, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii as the Democratic candidate for president claims. His grandmother bragged that her grandson is about to be President of the United States and is so proud because she was present DURING HIS BIRTH IN KENYA, in the delivery room. -This, according to several news sites and Pennsylvania attorney Philip J. Berg (see video below) who is, surprisingly, a life long democrat himself.
The LAW isn't. Obama could have been born on Mars, it wouldn't matter since Congress declared him a natural born citizen, end of story.
Do you know the women you are referring to did not say he was born in Kenya nor is she his biological grandmother ?
