Wierd how some guy ends up owing a bridge of this significance.

Secondly, this is how roads and bridges were funded in the past, privatley till the gov't found a better way and now it seems states are planning to sell toll roads and bridges to private owners. back to the old days.

 

to sum it up, canada is paying for it and keeping all of the tolls for 50 years. the life of the bridge will be around 125 yrs. after the 50, canada is splitting the tolls 50 50. its a win win, no more multi hour waits for drivers, and thousands will have jobs to build it. no on 6.
