evading.....avoiding..... brother Mav gets the cigar.... Maverick74 Senior Member Registered: Mar 2002 Posts: 268 08-08-03 11:41 PM Is it me or is time to ask this socialist fool to leave our country? I mean here is a guy that has completely exploited our economic infrastructure for profit then condemns the structure itself. He has made his fortune in this country yet he diverts all his profits to offshore tax shelters to avoid paying taxes. He profits from our capitalism structure then criticizes our capitalistic lifestyle. I think it's time that George Soros takes his open society and himself back to europe. Let's see how safe he feels over there.
Are you kidding me? That is not the same thing. The point Dgabriel was trying to make was that I insinuated that he was illegally evading taxes. Do not put words in my mouth. Everyone in this country tries to find ways to avoid taxes. Not everyone in this country is fortunate to have an offshore entity set up to compound their wealth tax free. Then support a candidates for President who want to take away our wealth through taxation. I stand by the above statements you quoted me on. There is nothing incorrect about any of them. That is exactly what he does. I never said George Soros is illegally avoiding taxes and I still am waiting for that to be shown to me. But I will take that Cigar to celebrate another republican taking away power from the liberals in California. Go Arnold.
dude, soros is saying NOTHING about tax structures here. he thinks GWB is a wacko who is threatening world peace and stability. many of us who desire low taxes also feel this way. end of story.
WTF does Soros have to do with Socialism??? Nobody seems to be able to answer my question, and this is like the 3rd time I'm posting it in this thread. He hates Bush! Many of us do! Soros doesn't want the world to implode in the next 5 years, so he's setting up $75million to try and prevent that from happening. End of story.
OK, so why don't we all listen to brother Maverick and ban foreigners from using "our" markets and see where that gets this fine country.
