If I was Joe Louis, I would get some cash, arrange financing, and buy the whole darn company for under $10. With the stock above $7, it looks like something of this nature is probably happening as we speak.
If I understand things correctly, the reason it is a sweatheart deal fro JP Morgan is the fed assuming liability for billions and without that assurance the deal might not be as appetizing for others like Mr. Lewis. But then I can only speculate... Does anybody really understand whats going down?
