I've lost count how many times I've paid for a MS Windows licence, numerous times. Everytime since Win 3.1. or upgraded MS office. Everytime I bought a new computer and that's numerous times. And Windows was nothing more than grief, thank gawd I'm free of that POS software and the scamming paying for Windows over and over again. So whats going to happen once Gates gets his maws into medicine? Ya I know, it will last 6 months then go for an 'upgrade jab'. As for philanthropy, the Gates Foundation is just another tax lurk, you know that. Gummint allow Foundations so the rich get a loophole to avoid tax.

I am not a huge fan of Gates. But: let's say you do amass billions. What do you do with them? You have to make a foundation, hire people, try to create some systematic way of dispensing the $ to causes/research/people you like, because it is way too much for one person to handle. Or you can just give it to the government to waste. Or pay off some of US debt Which will just rise back to the same level in a few months. Or days.
As a trained scientist, I can assure you that nothing you have ever written about C19 has anything to do with science.
