That used to be the case and still is. But not for long.

  2. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation spends heavily on combating emerging diseases, such as Ebola and its variants. It is at least a small miracle that Ebola has not hit the developed world harder than it did. It is a major miracle that Ebola was contained the way it has been after several large cities in Africa saw outbreaks. Emerging diseases contained in third world countries lessens the chance we have to deal with it directly, saving lives and perhaps our economy. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is helping keep us safe. Further, many libraries receive funding for computers and internet connectivity from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. in addition, they provide grants and invest in companies involved in emerging technologies, increasing innovation and our potential quality of life. Even more, Microsoft provides substantial, high quality resources to those wanting to learn how to code. While some or even many of the benefits the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation provides may seem self-serving, the fact is everyone benefits, either directly or indirectly. In other words, it could be called a “Win-win”. In a world that often disproportionately rewards those who are best at exploiting others, the more win-wins we can get, the better.

While Bill hasn’t been nice to his competitors and could have been more consumer friendly with certain Microsoft products and services, his efforts helped usher in computers for consumers and small business, possibly saving us from a dystopian, at least as far as computers were concerned, IBM dominated world.

    All hail Bill!

Mind you, you didn't offer a counter argument, so why don't you take a basic high school Debate 101 class first?

You may don't like Gates but he did more for humanity (both MSFT and African vaccination) than pretty much anyone else except maybe 10 guys.

Is he always right? No. But again if you have some specific against him bring it up instead of killing the messenger. Oh wait, you don't know what that means...

Because people never improve or change in their lifetimes, correct?

Gates is the typical Andrew Carnegie guy (sorry you don't get the reference), and started to do good things after realizing there is such a thing as too much money. He is way wiser than you and although I actually criticize his response to covid (he could have done way more with his money and influence) he did ring the bell early on.

  7. Also likely means yet "another round of vaccinations"... different one next time... in his quest for population control.

Gates has become one evil SOB!
