Damn Gates hasn't been relevant in a long time. Not sure why people are still talking about him. Him and Ballmer. Let them sail into the sunset, enjoying their sports team and whatever else their billions bought them.
Serious question: what are the top 5 achievements of Bill's foundation? He's been at this a while, and when I try to recall the things he's funded, it's all either pissing-into-the-wind stuff (they've squandered at least $250 million trying improve black school performance) or vaporware like said "new nuclear tech". Compare to what e.g. Musk achieved on the practical side (reusable rockets and millions of fully electric EVs on the road) or George Soros on the political/social side, both starting with far less cash. At the very least, it's impressive to spend tens of billions of dollars over a decade+ and nobody knows what you have to show for it.
polio in Africa malaria in Africa (He might have helped save a hundreds of millions lives) if it weren’t for Elon’s buddy, trump, we would be closer to safer nuclear power that would support Elon’s electric car future.
Bill Gates tried charter schools, and some other things related to education. He may have failed (or not, I dunno) but I know I appreciated someone trying.
And here I thought explosive population growth in Africa (pop set to more than triple by 2100) was one of this century's greatest challenges. I guess Bill knows better.
