Just want to compare stock's chart action to the option 'chart' action. that's all.
This looks like a good prospect for it.

The question is would the 'historical' Price data for date 120419 price action of the 40 - 50 delta option for BIIB from about 9:45 am till 3:30 be available on IB, or anywhere else for that matter?
    Thx

After looking at your fly some more, yes, it is a great buy.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

With Schwab Streetsmart Edge platform, yes you can compare the two, but they only have daily charts for options.

Comparing the two, looks like you maybe able to use the stock intraday chart as a proxy for options intraday chart.
Don't know about IB but Schwab only provide historical option data for open, high, low and close for up to six months. The data are not always complete and sometimes I found errors.

  5. I'd stay away from BIIB myself.

    Thank you for the advice.

But why, if I am a situation trader and trade short term?

  7. If you can make money from volatility, more power to you.

Thank you ironchef, That's what i'm looking for,
one chart would show the BIIB 5-minute-bar price chart
another chart would display a BIIB 40 - 50 delta option 5-minute-bar price chart.
Seems unlikely that's out there somewhere, but if it is...

Yes I noticed that. I am also beginning to understand the relationship of fly vs IV vs skew. In the case when IV reverts to mean, this fly should be profitable, unless directional screws you up? Am I making any sense?

    Thank you for the coaching.
