I'm just talking specifically about people who are into "bodybuilding" for more the purpose of aesthetics. They like big burly boyfriends, it's a thing. Not talking about most people who are into fitness in general which comprises a much larger group.
I think pretty much everyone who works out regularly wishes to improve their physique ("aesthetics"). And I would think that just about every guy who works out would like to improve his muscle mass at least a little bit.
When I was in highschoool the trend was roids and big, beefy meat heads lol who couldn’t touch their toes lol. not athletic and certainly not slim.
Are you saying anabolic steroid use is trending down outside of bodybuilding? I would have thought otherwise. Not that I think it's a good thing.
I couldn’t confirm as I am not in highschool , but when I was non athletes were taking deca for the purpose of looking like a wall. Is steroids prevalent in sports hell yes and ptsbily more now than ever. My statement was just riods for the point / purpose of being a meat head not to compete either .that’s certainly down I would say.
Maybe so, but it looks to me like more movie and television actors are taking steroids now than was previously the case. Perhaps not to "meathead" levels, but even so.
Lazy people take shortcuts and body building/strength training are no exceptions. IMO, steroids can be a shortcut, or not, depends on what the person is trying to achieve. I don't take and never have taken steroids, but I know some who do and they take them with full knowledge of what these steroids do and long term effects. Others don't know what the hell they're doing and just want to get big. Myself, I can't put steroid users into the same category as people using something like synthol. Those users are the ones really suffering from this mental illness bigorexia. They are no different than the people getting cosmetic surgeries to look like some animal. Far as the gay thing goes, I don't see any correlation at all.
No question that Synthol Sam, whose video you posted, has a mental illness. But I don't think that necessarily precludes some steroid users who push the envelope. Just a different shade of crazy.
