  2. Really? but there was no public market for bitcoin in 2009, but everyone is using the 2009 prices to calculate its return.

    Go to www.bitcoinwisdom.com choose mt gox exchange and weekly data . The prices I have used were actually in 2010 but were traded. I will adjust the dates in my list.
